Installation

Download and install Agentastic on your Mac

Download

Download the latest version of Agentastic from the official website.

Install via Homebrew

The quickest way to install Agentastic:

brew install agentasticai/tap/dev

Install Manually

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file
  2. Drag Agentastic.app to your Applications folder
  3. Launch Agentastic from your Applications folder or Spotlight

Note: On first launch, macOS may ask you to confirm opening the app. Click "Open" to proceed.

Verify Installation

After installation, you can verify everything is working:

  1. Open Agentastic
  2. Press Cmd+O to open a folder
  3. Navigate to any project directory

Updating

Agentastic includes automatic update checking via Sparkle. When a new version is available, you'll be prompted to update. You can also manually check for updates from the menu bar: Agentastic > Check for Updates.
