Launch Greptile
- Install the official CLI and sign in with your existing provider account.
- Open a repository in Agentastic. The connection is discovered from your PATH.
- Open Agent Home, choose Greptile, describe the task, and select worktree, local, container, cloud, or remote mode.
Every run gets its own git worktree, so three tasks can share a repository without sharing a branch or a build directory.
What Greptile supports
- Launch from a task description: not supported
Agentastic opens Greptile and you describe the task in its own interface; there is no opening-prompt hand-off for this CLI.
- Unattended runs: not supported
Greptile confirms its actions as it goes, so plan on watching the run rather than scheduling it.
- Plan before editing: not supported
Agentastic keeps plan mode out of the picker for Greptile rather than emulating it, so runs begin with edits.
- Resume a session: not supported
Every launch of Greptile is a fresh session; carry context forward in the repository rather than in the agent.
- Structured chat: not supported
Greptile runs in its own terminal UI inside Agentastic; it does not expose a protocol Agentastic can render as a structured chat.
- Code review: supported
Point Greptile at the diff before you merge and read its findings next to the changes that triggered them.

How do I run Greptile code review before opening a pull request?
Install the Greptile CLI with curl -fsSL https://greptile.com/cli/install | bash and connect your account, then pick Greptile in Agentastic's code review for a worktree. Its findings appear next to the diff that produced them.
Can Greptile review code written by Claude Code or Codex?
Yes. A review runs against a worktree's changes no matter which agent wrote them, so one agent can make a change and Greptile can review it before you merge.
Does Agentastic charge for Greptile?
No. Agentastic is free and does not proxy model calls. It launches Greptile with the credentials and plan you already use, so any usage is billed by your provider, not by Agentastic.
