How to switch from Ghostty cleanly
You don't need to leave Ghostty: Agentastic uses it as its default terminal backend. Agentastic manages its own terminal fonts and colors rather than reading your Ghostty config file, so set your font under Settings → Terminal.

Does Agentastic use Ghostty?
Yes. Ghostty is Agentastic's default terminal backend. WezTerm, xterm.js, and SwiftTerm are also available under Settings → Terminal.
Is there Ghostty for Windows?
Not as of October 5, 2026. Ghostty's download page offers macOS (13 or later) and Linux builds. Warp runs on Windows if you need an agent-oriented terminal there.
cmux vs Ghostty: what is the difference?
cmux is a separate Mac app built on libghostty, Ghostty's rendering library. It adds a sidebar, notification rings for agents, a browser, and a socket API, and it reads your Ghostty config.
